*Job Location: San Diego, CA* *Duration : Long term* *Skills:* 4+ years of experience testing SAP Applications. In-depth hands-on experience with HP Quality Center (SAP-TAO) operating in conjunction with SAP Solution Manager. *Description:* We require one senior SAP Test Engineer or Test Lead with hands on SAP TAO experience. The Test Engineer will be onsite on customer engagements or working in the TCOE (Test Centre of Excellence) and will be required to develop manual and automated test scripts based on in-depth understanding of business requirements and the application of best practices for testing of systems and software. * **Key Responsibilities:* • Develop automated business processing test scripts and automated testing components for SAP, SAP BW and SAP CRM applications using the HP Quality Center suite of tools and applications. • Build comprehensive library of re-usable automated test components and actions using HP QC suite. • Execute automated test cases and analyze results to verify design requirements are met and in compliance with Quality System standards; report test status and findings to Test Leads. • Review functional/operational requirements and design specifications; advise Management, Business Analysts and Testing Leads regarding requirements and design testability. • Assess test requirements and identify functionality best suited to automated or manual testing. • Assist in preparati • Assist in preparation of test schedules. • Collaborate with SQA team and business SMEs to develop standard automated regression test set that exercises core business processes. • Execute standard automated regression test set following system changes that do not affect operational functionality. • Recommend methods for process improvement, detailing process strengths and weakness of existing and proposed procedures and controls. • Serve as a mentor for colleagues with less training and experience in areas of own expertise. *Key Requirements / Qualifications / Experience* • In-depth hands-on experience with HP Quality Center, SAP TAO, BPT, QTP, TDMS and LoadRunner operating in conjunction with SAP Solution Manager. • Knowledge and working experience in SAP eCATT/CATT. • Working knowledge of VBScripting. • Installation, configuration and maintenance of test automation tools and solutions. • Implementation of automated testing for simple to complex software applications. • Expert in application of black box testing methods (automated and manual) in complex systems, practiced in white box and grey box testing. • Thorough knowledge of testing methods/techniques * e.g., equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, all-pairs testing, fuzz testing, model-based testing, etc. • Determine appropriate test methods and approach (traceability, unit, string, business process, integration, regression, user acceptance) based on intimate familiarity with applications lifecycle. • Understand key business processes and apply in-depth understanding of test concepts and practices to define advanced solutions. • Solve complex problems; apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard testing scenarios. • Demonstrate strong commitment and ownership for successful outcomes of quality-related processes, testing and training. • Stay abreast of technical trends in area(s) of own expertise and apply this knowledge to improve existing solutions. • Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across organizational levels a organizational levels and departmental boundaries Minimum Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent education and experience. • 4+ years experience testing (manual and automated) SAP applications. • 4+ years experience developing automated tests. • 4+ years experience with HP QC, BPT, QTP, TAO, TDMS. *Thanks, Chaitanya Dasari | Technical Recruiter * --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "direct reqs" group.
