Title: Java Developer Duration: 6+ months Location: Alexandria, VA (Local to DC Metro area) Openings: 2 *DIRECT In person interview * *JOB DESRIPTION*: Developer will be supporting the client’s effort by providing supporting JAVA development and design. Responsibilities include both front-end and back-end detailed design, development, and unit testing of all code developed. Additional responsibilities include documenting code developed and fixing bugs in the development of the various applications. *REQUIRED SKILLS*: Software development process in one or more areas: RUP, Agile, Extreme Programming, Lean POJO and J2EE component development as well as EJB, Servlets, JSP Java frameworks: preferred ones are Struts, Tapestry, JSF, Spring Knowledge of ORM tools such as Hibernate or iBatis Java-based development and configuration management: preferred ones are Eclipse; JDeveloper, Ant, JUnit, PVCS, Subversion Operating systems: Solaris, Windows, Linux Working knowledge of industry standard development practices and concepts: preferred ones are SOA, UML, MVC Development experience in popular relational databases, Webservices and Jboss. *Any experience with Architecture would be a preferred.* Mark Syscom Technologies, Inc.
