One of our clients is having multiple openings for Java Developers. Please find below the job description: Location:Charleston,SC and Greenville, SC Benefitfocus needs senior level Java developers for locations in Charleston,SC and Greenville, SC for 6 month+ contracts. Developers will work on several projects: (1) Re-Architecture project whereby they are re-architecting their existing Java platform to sustain their company's growth, or work on several BCBS projects they have recently won developing and modifying applications from loosely defined specs. Person will work on modules such as Reconciliation, Viewing of bills online, and payment of bills through ACH or credit card processing, enrollment or benefits management type applications. Ideal candidates will have 6+ years of Java/J2EE experience, person must be a heavy SQL developer (primary database is Oracle 10G). Client has both front end and backend positions open: backend/batch processing developer will use Python for scripting and JDBC for connectivity. They also have front end development positions open as well. Ideal candidates will have experience working in an *AGILE *development environment and experience working in very large transaction environments. This company is fast paced, specs are not always clearly defined so candidates will need to have some analysis experience, and there is very little documentation. Candidates must be able to pass drug test, background checks, and credit checks.
