*Job Description: *Requires a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and 4
years of progressive exp. OR 7 years of total progressive IT experience.



REQUIRED EXP:

· Mainframe Programming background required - COBOL, DB2, IDMS, CICS, and
JCL.

· Full life cycle developer capable of supporting the early life cycle
phases of analysis, design, and documentation.

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills, as these analysts will
need to regularly meet with SSA users and

development staff to determine the current state of the Annual Wage
Reporting System to analyze the existing code and system,

documentation, and potentially create documentation if it is needed for the
system.

. Dependent on specific SSA customer needs, will be responsible for creating
Detailed Functional Requirements (DFRs) and



Design Documents.

· Ability to research problems and provide solutions.

· Self-starter, highly motivated individual required who can adapt to
changes in client requirements.



DESIRED EXP:

. Java, J2EE, WebSphere



The purpose of this task is the re-engineering of existing legacy mainframe
systems that will be re-written and improved using state-ofthe-

art technologies that may include WebSphere/Java front-ends. Specific
activities include supporting the Annual Wage Reporting

development team in performing analysis of existing documentation, systems,
and source code and creating Detailed Functional

Requirements and Design Documents as necessary.

The Redesigning of the SSA's Earning's Systems, which involves full
Analysis, Design, and Development is a 2-3 year effort, which will

be supported by Lockheed Martin, which is causing this Task Order to expand
by 20 people.
