Senior Java Developer In general seeking a strong java back end developer local to Charlotte, NC or closely surrounding areas - client has been burned already by moving resources to this area for this role. - He/she will be working with 1 or 2 other people on a team, most likely only 1 other person. - He will need to be able to code from example and analyze existing code and patterns to create new code. We have a lot of doc and it is somewhat overwhelming, so often easier to point someone at our services and specify to follow that pattern. - Communication is huge. Sitting in front of something all day or days trying to figure something out isn’t what we need, nor the other extreme of asking how does one write each line of code. The people we are after dig into something, understand it, and then realize it quickly enough when it is easier to ask someone for some guidance. Finding that balance is critical for us. - It is a Java person we need. The EJB side of it is minimal, there is no UI side of it. It is working inside of SOA services building out implementations of that service to meet business rules. In our environment, that is working with java, XML, a few proprietary frameworks, and an Oracle database fronted by hibernate. -- Thanks and Regards
