The focus of this position will be to provide both system and application
administration to ensure the stable operation of SAP Netweaver (Java) and
ABAP systems in additional to related software components running on Windows
operating systems.
Experience:
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP Netweaver administration experience
with an emphasis in configuration, analysis and troubleshooting required.
• 5+ years experience in at least two of the following: SAP
BW/BI, SAP ECC, SAP PI SAP Enterprise Portal.
• 5+ years of experience with performance tuning,
support/enhancement packs and patches, system refreshes (sandbox, dev and
test environments),
SAP security maintenance and audit compliance required.
• Experience with Transport Packages, job
scheduling/troubleshooting, Java and ABAP stack maintenance required.
• Familiarity with formal Disaster Recovery planning/rehearsal
and High Availability infrastructure.
• Familiarity with formal Software Development Lifecycle
process required.
• Experience supporting applications for medium-to-large size
company, preferably with multiple locations and international footprint.
• Experience in multiple manufacturing-related systems (Supply
Chain, Inventory, Shop Floor, Quality, Warranty, CRM, etc.) a plus.
• Experience working with global end-user base a plus.
• Experience with the Microsoft Solutions Product Stack
(BizTalk, BI tools, .NET, SQL Server 2000/2005, MOSS 2007, CRM) a plus.
• Experience and/or ability to organize and collaborate with
various resources (both internal and external) to drive resolution of issues
or completion
of small-to-medium sized tasks/projects.
• Strong knowledge of integrating applications with Windows OS
platform and technologies (AD, LDAP, IIS etc.) a plus.
Education:
• 4 year degree in IT, business administration, or related
field required
