Job title: SAP Basis Administrator Location: Couer D Alene, or Standpoint Duration: 3+ months The SAP BASIS Administrator is responsible for working both independently and as part of a team to plan and establish the SAP Core Merchandising and Customer Relationship Management landscapes, enabling the solution sets and related components. The BASIS Administrator will have IT BASIS expertise and awareness of other related technical areas such as development, configuration, and security. Other roles will include the coordination with Infrastructure and Technical Architecture teams in building out and supporting the SAP landscape environment. The core SAP Business Solution includes: SAP Enterprise Portals, XI/PI, ECC 6.0, BI, SEM, APO/SCM, GTS, PLM and Solution Manager. Experience with ABAP and JAVA Stacks. The individual will work across all phases of the project (Project Prep, Business Blueprint, Realization, Final Preparation, Go-Live and then into ongoing Production Support). In this position, he or she will be required to report progress to goals, identify key risks and mitigation strategies, provide direct support for other process teams or work threads, and complete other duties as needed or assigned. Individual contribution is a requirement of this role. *Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)* ** 1. Support a current ERP implementation and coordinate integration points with non-SAP systems. 2. IT BASIS expertise and awareness of other related technical areas such as development, configuration, and security. 3. Work across all phases of the project (Project Prep, Business Blueprint, Realization, Final Preparation, Go-Live and then into ongoing Production Support). 4. Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration 5. Report progress on goals. 6. Identify key risks and mitigation strategies. 7. Provide direct support for other process teams or work threads. 8. Individual contribution. 9. Building and supporting the SAP environment. 10. Coordinate with the Core Merchandising and CRM teams for Infrastructure services. 11. Document, configure and test SAP and Core Merchandising solution set as applicable to BASIS and Integration areas. 12. System metrics, Key Performance Indicators and monitoring (CCMS, XI PMI/RWB). 13. Integration planning. 14. Technical mapping of requirements to solution set as applicable to BASIS. 15. Assist with technical aspect of Data cleansing/migration (connectivity). 16. Go-Live cutover activities. 17. Post go-live stabilization and support activities. 18. Provide ongoing administration and support for SAP systems including application of SAP patches and OSS notes and performance tuning 19. Other duties as needed or assigned. *Job Specifications* 1. Core SAP Business Solution includes: SAP Enterprise Portals, XI/PI, ECC 6.0, BI, SEM, APO/SCM, GTS, PLM and Solution Manager. 2. Experience with ABAP and JAVA Stacks. 3. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration 4. Bachelor’s degree is required, and a minimum of seven (7) years of work experience and three to five (3-5) years of SAP BASIS experience. 5. Broad understanding of SAP and BASIS/NetWeaver. 6. Ability to develop, articulate and build support around a long term vision and implement incremental milestones in support of that vision. 7. Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills. 8. Demonstrated leadership in achieving shared objectives within a matrixed organization, participating in cross-divisional projects and building effective cross-functional teams and relationships. 9. Prominently developed skills in the planning and construction of global centralized SAP environments, with proven experience in collaborating with business partners. 10. Aptitude for learning. 11.
