Role: Senior Software Engineer/Developer Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 6+ Months *Job Description: * Work on the Oracle Applications development team as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer for Supply Chain and Finance modules. Assist the business analysts in researching solutions to business problems by utilizing Oracle Applications standard functionality, where possible. Assist in identifying gaps and areas of improvement where we can leverage Oracle functionality that did not exist in previous systems. Creates design specifications based on functional requirements. Map workflows. Be familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle Process and proficient at writing technical design documents. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs (MD070), codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs. Complete all technical development tasks pertaining to applications per approved projects and allocated budgets. . *Experience/skills needed * Minimum 7+ years Experience with Oracle Applications 11i+ especially functions/features, configuration, development, security and support in, at least 4 or more of the following areas, Purchasing, WMS, Inventory, Order Management, IProc, ASCP, Demantra, Account Payable, iExpense) Experience with 3PL interfacing and ship confirm API is a plus Extensive knowledge on Order Management, Inventory, and Purchasing APIs Minimum 7+ years of experience with PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms, Development of Concurrent Programs, Interfaces, XML Publisher, Workflow, Unix Shell scripting, and BPEL workflows.
