*System Engineers* *(GC and Citizens Only)* Location - *Middletown, NJ**. Remote working not allowed*. Rate - *$45 - $50* Start date - *any time in Jan 2011.* *Skills -* As a System Engineer and Architect in a Core Network application in Telecom domain, candidate will be responsible in architecting optimal solutions in cutting edge technologies and business services in a process-intensive environment. Candidate will also be contributing to business case reviews, lab documentation and assist resolve any issues/defects identified. Candidate will also be responsible towards creating technical proposals on a need basis on identified projects. *The applicants must satisfy the following criteria:* Must be extremely proficient in overall Telecom domain knowledge (scale of 8.5 or above on 10) Must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with architecting complex telecom applications on Layer 2 and Layer 3 Layer 2 - Datalink Layer: Example: *FR/ATM, Ethernet* Layer 3 - Network Layer: Example: *IPV4, IPV6, IGMP* Overall telecom experience greater than 10 years preferred. Exceptional cases with 8 years or more will be considered. Should be up to date on recent technical advancements in Telecom – especially *Ethernet, VoIP, VPN, LTE, IPV6 Migrations areas * Should be well verse with configurations of routers, switches and network management. Knowledge in router OS like *Juniper JunOS and Cisco IOX/IOS.* Knowledge on Telecom Asset Inventory Management and Physical Provisioning like Cramer would be a plus, but not a must. Must have experience in working with software/technologies including J2EE, Oracle Must have working experience on CMM level 3 processes and methods I look forward to hear from you and hope that I can be a help in your job quest.
