*Network Project Manager* Location: *Boston, MA* Duration: *1 yr* *IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST!!!* ** •7+ years of experience with voice telecommunications and the design and implementation of VoIP technologies, Avaya S series, S88XX, media servers, G series Gateways, Modular and Unified Messaging, call detail recording, Integrated Management Suite (IMS), Avaya Site Administration (ASA), and vendor management. •Experience in working with software applications, including Microsoft Office, Project, Excel, Word, Access, and Visio Professional or Auto Cad. •Experience with Avaya XX as a communications manager and unified communications enterprise Analog and VoIP architectures. •Experience with IP Networking, including working with network engineers, security, and other IT staff in the architecture and design of WAN/LAN based voice/data network infrastructures. •Experience with Telco Circuits and provisioning, Virtual Voice network operations, and all facets of voice and data communication infrastructures •Experience with Telco Circuits and provisioning, Virtual Voice network operations, and all facets of voice and data communication infrastructures •Planning and managing the development of all assigned IT projects •Responsible for any projects assigned from the inception to completion •Monitor the progress of assigned projects •Make appropriate decisions that carry the project forward to completion and escalate any issues and risks that will cause delay •Manage the project utilizing the PMO methodology and governance's: Phases include, Origination, Initiation, Planning, Execution and Close; •Solid experience and knowledge of writing and managing Scope, Requirements, Risk and Issues, Change Control, Stakeholder Expectations, Project Reporting, Budgets, Resource allocation, schedule development. •Facilitate meetings between all stakeholders and project teams. •Develop reports to communicate schedules, issues, risks and project changes to all stakeholders and senior management Preferred Qualifications: •In-knowledge of carrier based telecommunication network hardware i.e. Acatel Lucent, Avaya, Ciena and Cisco. •Ability to be self-motivated and manage multiple projects simultaneously •Possession of excellent interpersonal and analytical skills •Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills •Possession of excellent and organizational skills •Ability to work independently without direct supervision once familiar with MassDOT requirements. •Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends based on project schedules •BA or BS degree in Networking or Telecommunications preferred I look forward to hear from you and hope that I can be a help in your job quest.
