In addition to development responsibilities, this individual will also support and administer the SharePoint environments. This position will be responsible for the full lifecycle development process of custom application development and its ongoing support. The position includes the need for excellent customer service skills and reliance on documented processes to capture requirements and then develop and implement a solution. *Major Duties: * • Capture complex requirements and map to business processes and solutions. • Develop well-documented and maintainable applications following best practices. • Administer and support various ongoing applications and SharePoint environments throughout the organization as needed. • Must have the ability to multi-task on date sensitive projects, effectively analyze and solve problems, communicate, and collaborate as a team player. • Supply 24/7 support of mission-critical applications in an on-call rotation. • Respond to questions on application usability issues and train system users and other technical staff as necessary. • Work as a team with internal and external task groups representing the organization in a knowledgeable and professional manner. *Minimum Qualifications: * • BS in computer science or equivalent combination of education and work experience resulting in demonstrated ability to perform major duties. • Three years of experience in support of SharePoint. • Four years of experience in developing ASP.NET and .NET applications. • Four years experience in working with SQL server and Oracle databases. • Ability to work independently and learn new systems quickly. • Good working knowledge of IIS configuration and administration. *Preferred Qualifications: * • Six years development in Visual Studio C# or VB.Net ASP.NET web development. • Two years experience in developing SharePoint applications. • Two years experience maintaining SharePoint Portal sites and administering document retention. • Project development experience in deploying internet facing web services with encryption and security best practices. • In-depth knowledge of XML versioning and SCHEMA creation. • Ability to program in lower level languages such as C, C++. • Working knowledge of Windows 2003 server and active directory administration. • Comfortable working with various Vendor APIs (C Header Files, Web Services, and COM+) to create custom solutions. • Versed in multiple languages and technologies such as .NET, PERL, C++, and JAVA. *Thanks & Regards* *Vik**ram******, * *Orpine, Inc., * *Phone: 678-248-6879 (Direct)* * 770-475-1445 ext (438)* *E-mail: **[email protected]* <[email protected]> *www.orpine.com* <http://www.orpine.com> *IM:maganti.orpine(yahoo/gtalk)* ** Note: We respect your online privacy.
