*Jr. Oracle Database Administrator* Location: *Boston, MA* Duration: 12 months Rate: *$52 per/hr on 1099/c2c* ** *IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST AFTER A SUCCESSFUL TELEPHONIC ROUND!!!!* *Required Work Experience:* Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience (at least4-5 years) maintaining Oracle 10g databases Knowledge of Oracle database architecture (components and processes of the database) for Oracle 10g Extensive knowledge of Oracle packages, triggers, and stored procedures Knowledge of and experience with PL\SQL programming J2EE experience including (but not limited to) JSP (and HTML), Experience with Oracle reports Experience writing moderate to complex SQL queries Experience developing in an environment requiring high availability and short deadlines Hands-on experience supporting Oracle 10g (SUN UNIX/Solaris operating system) database, application, and infrastructure servers Experience with Oracle backup and recovery techniques using VERITAS software . Experience dealing with all levels of users is preferred. *Required Skills and Attributes:* Advanced SQL query skills Exceptional debugging and analytical skills Ability to take direction and work to specified deadlines Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to pursue tasks with a minimum of supervision and deliver quality work on time. Strong understanding of the requirements associated with an online database supporting transactional applications.
