* MS-Exchange Support with windows,MCSE* Location: *College Park, MD* Duration: *3 to 6 months* Rate: *$55 per/hr on c2c/1099* ** *IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST AFTER A SUCCESSFUL TELEPHONIC ROUND!!!!* ** *Job Description:* 1.Manage Health Check a.Work with Microsoft and review, with an eye toward reliability, the complete health of the client. Document all deviations and develop a remediation plan for resolving issues. b.Provide technical mentoring to additional team members and assist as issues arise and instruct in interfacing with Microsoft. 2.Create reports a. Create monthly reports on the use and response of the exchange environment. Manage the expectation on performance by providing reports on mail flow in and out of the system, storage used, database growth and CPU, memory and network usage. 3.Manage Migrations a. As more people come on the Exchange system, from other mail system, manage the migration of those people onto the client Exchange environment, including setting customer expectations, meeting client deadlines, managing DNS changes and “sub-domains and insure all mail is moved from clients mail to UMD mail. 4.Plan 2010 Migration a.Execute the plan for Exchange 2010 migration and insure that the technical build out and execution of the initial load of information is correct and then migrate all users from Exchange 2007 to 2010. 5.Planning move from Reflectors to Exchange Groups a.Understand the business process of creating reflectors. Determine how to migrate that business process to an Exchange format. Determine the best way to manage the migration the best way to effectively migrate those reflector groups to Exchange enabled groups in AD 6.Antivirus software issues a.Audit and resolve discrepancies in the way antivirus is set up on all servers. 7.Calendar a.Resolve Calendar issues as they arise, understand academic usage of Exchange calendar and work on remediation issues around the issues; in particular the BSOS and Letters and Sciences issues. 8.GAL a.Perform an analysis of data in the GAL and determine if re-organization is necessary.
