Maintain records and files of work and subsequent revisions. Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers or establishment personnel. Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction and binding. Study drafts and any previously written papers, all specifications, and mockups necessary to integrate and delineate the work of the client. Interview project management staff for progress on projects and programs, production support and IT operational personnel. Read and research the client journals and other related material to become familiar with current technologies and IT production methods as they relate to clients needs. Observe production, developmental, and experimental activities to determine operating procedure and detail. Arrange for typing, duplication, and distribution of material. Work closely with IT Web team and IT graphics staff in producing written documentation. Select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate written material.
