*Front End Java Developer (Banking Exp is a must)* Location: *Durham, NC*** *Duration: 6 months * *IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST!!!* *Required Experience/Skills:* - A proactive problem solver with the ability to work with minimum supervision when given a goal. - Strong understanding of Distributed Technology with a minimum of 5 years java development experience. - Very strong core Java skills - Strong working knowledge with relational databases. - Experience in Software Development Life Cycle methodologies. *Desired Experience/Skills:* - Experience with HTML5, Ext JS, Struts, Spring and FLEX. - Good experience with Kx Database - Experience with Fixed Income, Trading Systems or Investment Banking. *Key skills:* Ext JS, Struts, Spring, FLEX and Java Script (mandatory experience with Fixed income, Trading Systems, or Investment Banking). When qualifying candidates please ask if they have any experience with Real-time databases and if not if they have experience with SQL or Oracle databases. They say 5 years of experience but try to shoot for more like 8 years.
