The Senior Database & Middleware Developer / Administrator will be responsible for supporting our enterprise databases and database systems. In addition, this position is responsible for supporting our Middleware platforms, BizTalk and SSIS. ETL (Extract Transformation and Load) knowledge related to Business Intelligence data warehousing is also highly desirable. Responsibilities include maintaining the performance, integrity and quality of all database instances and DB servers by tuning database components, installing, patching and maintaining all database and BI application software. Work with internal users and application developers to design, create and maintain enterprise databases and ETL processes. In addition, be able to administer, configure and debug BizTalk applications. Scribe would also be a nice to have. ESSENTIAL DUTIES 40%Database software installation and setup, technical maintenance, user support, documentation, application maintenance & support and day-to-day operations. 40%Provide BizTalk / SSIS / ETL application and database support 20%Prepare project status and administration Technical knowledge/skills §Advanced knowledge of database technologies and systems §In-depth knowledge of SQL programming skills; Oracle a plus §Intermediate ETL skills/knowledge; SSIS a plus §Extensive experience in developing Microsoft BizTalk solutions §In-depth knowledge of Microsoft's .NET Framework, Visual Studio IDE, using VB and C# §Thorough knowledge of applying object-oriented design and implementation techniques §Strong understanding of BizTalk architecture and core components, pub/sub architecture, content based-routing and heat maps, configuration of adapters and ports, development of pipelines and custom pipeline components §Intermediate knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts General knowledge/skills §Excellent verbal and oral communication skills §Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills §Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously §Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail Education/Experience §Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field §5 - 7 years database administration experience In order to apply for same, send me your updated resume along with 3 professional references and let me know the best time to reach you.
