Troubleshoot production problems, help identify root cause and complete fixes. Participate in the analysis, design, coding, unit testing and implementation of assigned projects. Provide on-call production support on a rotating schedule. Provide technical documentation. Plan the development and delivery of project deliverables across multiple departments. Prepare a definition of the problem together with recommendation for the technical and application architecture changes. Communicate technical problems to non-technical audiences. Required: -Very important that the Java Developer have an understanding of and experience with relational database concepts and use of SQL queries. -Must also have experience with open source frameworks (JSF/Spring/Hibernate/JPA). -Qualified candidates will have extensive experience working in a large-scale, mission-critical multiplatform environment such as Windows and UNIX / Linux. -Proven experience in Perforce, JBOSS, Linux, scripting, familiar with a typical J2EE environment and MQ knowledge. A minimum of three years of - Development experience in large scale multiplatform environment.
