Need Citizens, Gcs, EADs, H1 transfers, L1s Position Summary We're looking for a passionate, seasoned C++developer who wants to be part of a team developing the infrastructure powering the next generation of payments technology. You need to be capable of delivering well-thought-out software solutions as part of a fault-tolerant, distributed transactional billing system implemented using a variety of web-based technologies. This is a hands-on role where the ideal candidate has the skills, experience, and confidence to work with senior engineering and product management team members to deliver stable and robust implementations. What You Are Accountable For As a member of the application infrastructure team, you will be expected to: · Be able to work directly with our external partners in determining the appropriate techniques for integrating our systems into theirs or in assisting them in integrating into our solution. · Write comprehensive unit tests. Desired Skills & Experience** Knowledge, Skills & Abilities You’ll need the below as an absolute minimum: · Three solid years of solid C++ experience (including reasonable amount of work in STL) on a Unix-based platform. · Some experience with Python. · Some experience with SQL databases. · Considerable hands-on experience with server-side implementations. · Demonstrated ability to design and implement correct, stable, and reliable network-based solutions that can be easily maintained in live environments. · Excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills. · Self-starter/self-managed. Each member of our team is expected to maximally contribute so everyone needs to pull his or her own weight while at the same time working together as a team. · Excellent written and oral communication skills (you *must* be able to convey your ideas in a well-thought out, coherent way) · Some experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (e.g., jQuery) would be even better. Actually, we’re looking for you to bring a lot more to the table. If you meet the above we’ll talk to you about the rest.
