The following is the Job description: Job Title: SAP WM Consultant Country: United States of America State: Texas City: Houston Job Type: Contract PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES ·Using the Six Sigma methodology to provide applicationtechnical leadership in supply chain, involving an in depth understanding of the SAP ECC 6.0 application. ·Documents as-is and to-be process flow, develop technical specs and detailed training documentation. ·Consults with users to develop functional requirements ·Assess utilization and train users on optimum utilization of warehouse management/RF functionality ·Determines configuration changes needed due to changes in business needs. Configures and tests SAP system. Reviews and reconciles results to ensure correctness. ·Consults with management regarding the capabilities of the existing system and possible uses of those capabilities. ·Examines results of changes made by programming staff to ensure that results are correct. ·Monitors assigned areas to ensure production system is functioning as designed and implemented. NATURE AND SCOPE ·Responsible to provide SAP ECC 6.0 Design and Leading practices processes for World Wide in the specific SAP WM/RF/LE areas. ·Hands on to create technical spec for new functionality. Perform configuration changes and provide training. In addition, this position analyzes problems and liaisons with development team and delivers tested results to users. This position?s area of responsibility does not include application programming. ·Broad understanding of an entire horizontal process chain and in depth SAP ECC 6.0 Supply chain specific modules with specific focus on Warehouse Management. ·A proven functional/technical professional with at least 3+ full lifecycle SAP R/3 implementation and 5+ years of industry and/or consulting experience. ·At least 5 years of experience implementing SAP WM/RF/LE. ·Superior Proven problem solving skills. ·A proven resource in, developing systems requirements, proposing best practices, designing and prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures.Able to collaborate with users and have a strong desire to excel. .While often technical in scope, consultants also work closely with users and must demonstrate individual technical and professional knowledge to ensure highest customer service level. ·Specific requirements: Hands-on configuration experience in SAP WM/RF/LE plus extensive integration knowledge with other SAP modules MM/PP/FI. Ability to work with end-users to gather requirements, address SAP functionality questions. ·Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to transfer knowledge to Staff /Users. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE · 5 or more years related business/consulting experience. · 1 ? 3 years working with Six Sigma; Black Belt Certification is preferred (but not required). · 5+ years SAP ECC (R/3) 6.0 WM/RF/LE configuration experience is a MUST · Experience in managing User expectations · Experience as Functional/Technical Support · Superior technical competence and demonstrated leadership within the WM/RF/LE applications disciplines. · Superior knowledge of SAP WM/RF/LE, Ability to convert IM location to WM, experience with configuring Vertical Lift systems is a plus. · Recognizes potential problem areas and provides advice and direction on the use of technology tools and problem solving processes. · Some travel, both domestic and abroad, could be required.
