Ektron/ASP.net developer Dallas, TX Duration: 6 month contract to hire Rate: let me know your best rate Interview: Phone and In-person ( no Skype or hire over the phone) Position Overview · Leads the development and implementation of highly complex internet and intranet applications on one or more diverse .Net based platforms utilizing Ektron as the Content Management System, including the development/ implementation of custom coded Ektron widgets and .NET web-parts. · Uses advanced knowledge of web technologies, including Ektron CMS 8.5, XML, XLST, C# and all versions of the .Net framework, multimedia applications, database modeling tools and/or database interactions. · Uses advanced knowledge of administration of Ektron CMS 8.5. · Evaluates systems specifications for web site requirements and determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective solution. · Directs the activities of outsourced development teams. · Researches and tracks new web technologies especially in the Microsoft product line, develops service applications, and analyzes business requirements as they pertain to web-based systems. · Responsible for system quality assurance and consistency with installation and security policy and standards. · May provide direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Requirements · Experience with Ektron CMS version 8.5 or greater · Experience with the development/implementation of custom coded Ektron widgets and .NET web-parts · 2 to 4+ years development experience with ASP.NET 2.0 · 2 to 4+ years of experience with C# development · Experience with AJAX, SharePoint, WSS 3.0, CAML, SAML and ADFS · 2 to 4+ years of experience with MS Visual SourceSafe · 2 to 4+ years of experience with Visual Studio 2005 · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Software and Web development.
