Title : *Peoplesoft HRMS* Location: Sacramento, CA Duration: 6+ months Start Date: ASAP3 JD: The Information Technology Branch maintains PeopleSoft HRMS modules and continually provides enhancements/ programming modifications to this application. Ongoing enhancements and upgrade tasks, modifications are mandated to the system. Required system modifications include, but are not limited to, the following: • Creating new Time Reporting codes and Pay Types • Analyzing business rule process changes (Time Administration) • Creating new Time Inbound interface (system to SCO) • Redesign of existing inbound and outbound interfaces • Identifying and analyzing impacts to security structure and design A consultant with technical software development experience in PeopleSoft v8.9 HRMS and Time and Labor modules, Time Administration Process, Application Engine, Component Interface, PeopleCode, PeopleTools, SQR, and SQL. The Consultant will be tasked with providing technical support for the Staff Central production application. Tasks include application software performance tuning, identifying and resolving software defects, researching and applying PeopleSoft software upgrades, and coding, documenting, and implementing software modifications. The Time and Labor functionality is a critical Staff Central process and impacts employee’s payroll and leave balances. It is crucial that the consultant chosen has the technical expertise and skill in the Time and Labor module so that critical software defects or system performance issues can be resolved quickly. *Responsibilities: Responsibilities of the consultant will include but not necessarily be limited to:* • Develop scope of work documents, time estimates and work plans for all Deliverables. • Perform customer interviews and other analytic activities to develop requirements and support requirements validation, assess business process impacts, determine training needs and recommend business process improvements. • Produce flow charts, context diagrams, and other structured analytical products to capture and communicate issues and decisions. • Integrate information technology capabilities into process designs and specifications. • Provide project management services for business analysis and/or requirements analysis activities. • Apply gap analysis techniques to define the organizational impact and communicate the business case to decision makers. • Determine Process improvement objectives such as the development of written procedures, training material, and other suggested improvements as appropriate. • Recommend strategies in the areas of organizational planning, business processes, stakeholder outreach and communication, information technology, workforce transition and training. • Design, build, test, and implement system software modifications related to Inbound and Outbound interface modules for Benefits Administration, Payroll Administration, Time Management, Organizational Management and Personnel Administration. • Work with the project Team and external partners to develop and perform unit and system tests. • Identify and plan for key activities issued in the Cutover and Post Go Live Guide related to finalizing data Regards *Rasool* Bodh Tree Solutions Inc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hot List" group.
