Description:

·         The Oracle E-Business 11i Financials Functional Specialist is
responsible for the performance, functionality and reliability of the
Oracle Financials Applications, specifically: General Ledger, Accounts
Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Projects, Cash
Management TCA Customer Model, Financials Foundation modules.
·         Assists in ensuring 24x7 application software availability to
support mission critical business functions to the users across multiple
countries in a multi org, multi-currency, multi-language in a single global
environment.
·         This position will function in both production support and
project development roles.
Essential Job Functions:

·         Ensure service level availability of the Oracle applications and
provide on-call support on a 24x7 basis for break/fix/enhancement
activities to resolve application issues.
·         Support and maintain Oracle E-business11i Financials
applications. Troubleshoot and resolve applications functional issues.
·         Act as a primary liaison for all Financials business users for
support and project related activities. Coordinate and work with onsite and
offshore development and support teams.
·         Assist with the planning of application changes, and installation
of upgrades and new releases. This involves interacting with Development
teams, Business Process Owners and Infrastructure teams
·         Establishes and maintains positive business relationships with
managers and staff in their functional areas, demonstrating a thorough
understanding of the business, their processes, and their priorities;
Ensures that system functionality and performance meet current and future
business requirements.
·         Define and implement procedures based on corporate policy and SOX
compliance
·         Work with Oracle support to resolve product related bugs and
patch upgrades.
·         Ability to understand business processes, gather requirements and
prepare design specifications.
·         Work with process owners and identify information technology
solutions to enable business process improvements and serve as trusted
advisor and Subject Matter expert to the business regarding how the system
can be used to support desired business processes and requirements.
·         Work on Business process reengineering, System Requirements
Gathering, Analysis, Solution Design & Development, QA Testing and
Implementation. Guide users in formulating requirements, advice on
alternatives and on the implications of new or revised processing analysis.
·         Setup, configure, implement, test and validate Oracle Ebusiness
Application modules and extensions. Develop, review and execute the System
Test Scripts, perform end to end functional testing of business processes.
·         Ability to function as lead and manage projects relating to
Oracle Financial applications.
·         Develop, document and enforce application standards and procedures
·         Develop functional test plans and scripts for QA and system
testing.
·         Prepare user training guides and conduct training workshops.
·         Submit monthly reports to management on a timely basis
·         Responsible for support of Oracle Financials suite of modules
implemented in single global environment, across several countries
worldwide, with multilingual localizations.
Travel Requirements:

·         This position requires completion of most work functions in a
general office environmnet.
·         However, there are requirements to travel on an as needed basis
to accomplish defined project objectives and activities.
·         Some work and meetings may require evening and/or weekend
participation.
Qualifications

·         Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting,
engineering, information systems or related field with 5 - 8 years
experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
·         Requires excellent communication, written skills, strong
analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work effectively in a
fast paced environment.
·         Previous experience implementing and supporting Oracle E-Business
Suite 11i Financials applications.
·         Must have at least 5yrs of experience with General Ledger,
Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Purchasing,
Projects, Cash Management, TCA Customer Model, Financials Foundation
modules.
·         Knowledge of Accounting and Finance business processing is
required.
·         Experience with SDLC, Change Management process and developing
functional design specifications for Report, Interface, Customization and
Extension objects, testing and supporting the applications.
·         Experience with AIM or similar oracle applications implementation
methodology to implement Oracle Ebusiness suite modules.
·         Experience with Application gap solutions and designing custom
solutions and workarounds for product gap functionality.
·         Experience working with conversions, interfaces, data mapping and
validation.
·         Knowledge of Oracle Applications API's
·         Knowledge of Oracle financial applications and interfaces from
Financials modules
·         Experience working with an organization having 24x7reliance on
its applications and follow the sun support model.
·         Flexible, self-directed and motivated individual, able to
accommodate to shifting priorities.
·         Excellent communication/customer service skills. Ability to
understand others and clearly express thoughts.
·         Self-starter, who can work independently, follow through and
complete tasks with a minimum of oversight
·         Ability to provide on-call support
·         Knowledge of Financials Technical foundation and table structures
is a plus
·         Knowledge of other Oracle E-Business Suite application modules
and experience working with Oracle EBS Release 12 will be a plus.
·         Ability and interest to learn and develop on newer technology
tools and skills.
·         Must be a team player and be willing to work alongside technology
staff to get the job done.
