Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Architectural Design Review - Evaluation of the quality of the
Oracle R12.1.3 database architecture. Poorly architected databases always
perform poorly, and will not see typical improvements from normal tuning.
If issues are uncovered, recommendations will be provided for potential
redesign
* Analysis - Assessment of Applications, Customizations, Batch Jobs,
memory, Disk I/O, OS and overall computing environment
* Findings - Identification and recommendations provided for
modifications and changes to Batch Jobs, SQL programs, Data Issues
* Implementation - Step-by-step deployment and change management
process
* Re-testing and Analysis - Upon completion of each modification, the
configuration will be re-tested and analyzed to ensure the modification
actually improved the situation. Further analysis will determine the next
modifications to implement, returning to the preceding implementation phase
* Proper and thorough SQL performance tuning will allow CG1 instance
to perform to most optimized form. CISCO business to reap the benefits of
increased overall workflow, efficiency, and much more.
Qualification and Experience:
* 8- 10 years of experience in the following:
* PL/SQL Technical Guru - Should be exceptionally well in PL/SQL
Performance Tuning, Debugging and Finding RCA of Technical Issues.
* Oracle R12 Supply Chain - Good to have functional understanding of
Oracle ERP and in-specific Release 12 specific features and 10g database I/O
* Automation - Should recommend automation in analyzing and providing
a dashboard for overall reporting the status as part of the overall
governance mechanism of R12 Supply Chain instance
* Issue Resolution - Should have tremendous attitude in resolving and
delivering the goods that matter to the customer most.
* Findings - Identification and recommendations provided for
modifications and changes
