Job Description:
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS the following experience:
• 7+ years of SAN Storage Administration experience.
• 7+ years of storage administration experience with HDS/EMC/NetApp.
• 3+ year of SAN &Storage design/ experience
• Working knowledge of Hitachi and EMC tools(HDvM, HTnM and DFM)
• Strong experience with Cisco or Brocade SAN fabric.
• Experience in dealing change control.
• Multi path technologies, Volume Manager (VxVM) experience required; and
VERITAS Cluster Server (VCS) or other High-availability service.
• SAN experience on 200+ TB of storage across multiple subsystems.
• Creating scripts for process automation and monitoring (using shell, perl
or C language).
• Design and implement NAS storage infrastructure solutions, including
integration with third party software and hardware.
• Serve as technical liaison with NAS engineering, project managers, system
administrators, database and application teams during all phases of new
projects, from design through implementation.
• Develop and prepare solution designs and operational documentation
required to support engineered solutions to production support teams.
• Interface with engineering, production support and vendors to identify
technical and practical solutions applicable to the business needs.
• Provide technical leadership to the NAS Implementation Engineering teams.
• Identify and develop innovative process and procedural improvements,
tools and capabilities
