TAX Infrastructure Solutions Architect
** May conduct initial interview using Skype for candidates out of VA.
However, ALL candidates interviewed will be required to do a personal
interview, NO exceptions.
Windows Server engineer under the direction of Virginia Department of
Taxation management. The individual will work in a team environment.
*Required:*
• Min 7 year work experience setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting
Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008, and 2010
• Min 7 year work experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Min 7 years experience with IIS configuration and administration
• Min 5 year work experience with SMS
Desired:
• Work experience with RES Software
• Work experience in Microsoft Team Foundation Server
• Work experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010
Types of projects this position will work on (experience with all
technologies strongly desired) - Troubleshooting/supporting SMS clients on
approximately 1000 desktops and 400 servers, SQL (migration from
2005-2012), ongoing server upgrade projects (upgrading from Windows Server
2003-2008), rewriting VB scripts pulling from WMI and Active Directory
2008, optimizing SharePoint 2008 (this project would likely be "consulting"
only), and Tivoli upgrading ("consulting" only).
This position requires strong multi-tasking, the ability to wear multiple
hats and transition quickly while prioritizing workload. Strong project
management skills as well as exceptional communication skills are critical.
