Role: Oracle Application DBA Location : Naples, FL Duration : 6+Months *( GC & CITIZENS ONLY)* *JD: * Typically requires a bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and 5 years of related experience. - Strong knowledge supporting High availability architecture with relevant experience in Oracle Application (Version 11i/R12), Oracle Database (Version 9i/10g/11g RAC), Oracle Fusion Middleware products (version 10/11gg: SSO/OAM, Portal, Discoverer, SOA Suite architecture, E-biz LDAP integration). - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are required - Experience of managing multiple RDBMS on large systems - Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service. - Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service. - Oracle Certification, preferably OCP - At least 5 years of IT DBA experience on large Oracle ERP implementations - Knowledge and understanding of the business strategy and use of back office applications. - Ability to adapt to multi-lingual and multicultural environment, additional language skills are a bonus. - Ability to handle conflicting priorities. - Ability to learn. - Adaptability. - Receptive to change. - Ability to communicate with business users at all levels - Analytical skills - Self-motivated and pro-active *Role Dimensions:* - Ensuring high Oracle DB and applications availability - Monitoring and tuning of Oracle DB instances - Guru in terms of best DB query practise & methods - Customer Service - Teamwork - Knowledge - Out of Hours Support where required - Experience of working in high pressure results oriented organization. - Strong strategic process and procedure methodology with attention to maintaining robust audit controls. - Ability and flexibility to travel internationally at short notice. - Work within different cultural environments. - Work within multi-lingual environments. - Work with the implications of different cultural and business environments across the company -- *CHRIS* *[email protected]* *703-349-1074 * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hot List" group.
