Let me know if you are comfortable on below if you are comfortable. *MongoDB DBA * *Location- Emeryville CA* *Duration- 6 month * *- Must be a United States Citizen* As a MongoDB Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the MongoDB database envrionments for RelayHealth Platform Services and other solution lines. You will ensure MongoDB availability, performance, and scalability. *Duties and Responsibilities*: - Respond to and resolve MongoDB availability and performance issues - Actively monitor the MongoDB replica sets to ensure secure availability and performance within internal and external SLAs - Develop, Implement, and Monitor to ensure that the MongoDB database backup and maintenance operations are successful - Work with application development and production support staff to provide guidance and help develop coding standards - Support the querying of MongoDB for internal and external clients - Deploy database scripts to production in a continuous development environment - Proactively monitor and request physical data storage for database systems via capacity planning - Escalate problems to the senior DBAs and/or development teams as appropriate - Work with development and infrastructure teams to design and implement massively scalable MongoDB architectures *Technical Requirements:* - Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices - Familiarty with Windows Server OS - Technical, hands-on experience designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting MongoDB in a Windows and Linux environment - Hands-on MongoDB database tuning and troubleshooting experience - Experience managing No-SQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, CouchDB, etc) on large enterprise systems - In-depth knowledge and experience designing and implementing MongoDB sharding in a large enterprise environment - Experience implementing and supporting MongoDB in both physical and virtual environments - Proficieny in a scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, and PowerShell - Experience with MMS and Hadoop a plus - Minimum of 3-5 years of MongoDB experience - BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience *Other requirements:* *- Must be a United States Citizen* - Good written and oral communication skills - Good interpersonal skills - A positive attitude in a high-pressure environment is required - Ability to conduct research into database issues, standards, and products as required - Highly self-motivated and directed - Keen attention to detail - Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment - Strong customer service orientation *Best Regards, * *Hemant Kumar Singh* Technical Recruiter *Expertise: .NET| ORACLE |QA |BA* Off: +1-248-565-4747x 151 Fax : +1-248.254.7211 *[email protected] <[email protected]>* ISO 9001:2008 Certified WMBE Firm 29226 Orchard Lake Rd, Suite 180 Farmington Hills, USA *Disclaimer:* If you are not the intended recipient, please contact the sender by reply e-mail and destroy all copies of the original message.
