Candidates must be on EAD, GC, or a U.S *JOB SUMMARY* The Functional Analyst reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. This position will primarily serve as a PeopleSoft subject matter expert for the ELM module, but the position will contribute expertise in other modules of the PeopleSoft application also. This person will be the liaison between IT and Human Resources and will work closely with the Lead Functional Analyst. Their role is to assist in design, configuration, testing, and overall maintenance of the system. This position will provide production support, assist with knowledge transfer activities, and manage an overall smooth transition process by retiring legacy learning systems throughout the Corporation. *PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* · Assist with the gathering of business requirements performing fit/gap analysis, and developing functional specifications for data conversions and customizations. · Provide functional support and configuration expertise to the HR and PMO training teams, including: basic setup, ability to troubleshoot issues related to the ELM module and reporting. · Advise project team on best practices related to configuration and setup of ELM module. Assist the team in making the best strategic configuration decisions. · Assist Functional Lead with designing interfaces, data conversions and customizations to the product as well as being involved in all testing phases and issues resolution of the project. · Knowledge of PeopleSoft version 9.0 or higher · Partner with HRSS personnel to support business operations and satisfy user inquiries, resolve issues and support applications. · Modify or develop new queries and reports in PeopleSoft as needed. · Work closely with Business Partners to ensure requirements for projects are clear, measurable, & testable while attempting to develop/maintain common processes · Provide expert business knowledge and technical support for maintaining and enhancing systems · Interpret business related information to assist management with resolving problems and to improve the efficiency of ERP systems · Provide insight and recommendations for process improvement opportunities · Prepare and coordinate business requirements and specifications, then submit the request(s) for review *QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE* · A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Human Resources, or a related field of study; and · Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems and applications. · Successfully completed and/or involved in at least one full life-cycle PeopleSoft implementation and/or upgrade. Recent Oracle PeopleSoft Payroll, v9.0 experience required, v9.1 desired. · Must possess at least 3-5 years of experience in a functional role using PeopleSoft Core HR modules. · Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM Enterprise application. · Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Application Engines, Component Interfaces and PeopleSoft query management. · Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to identify problems and determine corrective actions. · Effective collaboration and communication skills as well as an ability to handle multiple assignments in a timely manner with minimal supervision. · Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio etc.). -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hot List" group.
