*Job Description:*
Location Phoenix, AZ Duration 6 months with renewal
*Basic Data Analytics, SQL and Unix Korn Shell Scripting.*
Successful candidate will have strong UNIX, KSH, SQL and data analytic
skill sets. SAS and SQL Server are pluses. Perl is a non-factor. At
first it’ll mostly consist of supporting around 160 Korn shell jobs (file
loads, scripts that run SQL, others may create then execute SAS programs)
Depending on his/her abilities, it could turn into developing as well. The
majority of our development is KSH & SQL with an occasional SAS/Perl
program. SAS knowledge would be a nice to have.
Demonstrated experience with analyzing data, manipulating data, and
working with databases, writing SQL Queries, strong documentation skills.
Responsible for development, maintenance, and troubleshooting for large
databases and support for existing production processes.
Looking for someone to handle BAU, then, tack on duties as we get busier or
feel they can handle it.
This is heavy on the UNIX and KSH skills.
Experience in the banking/finance industry is preferred.
Strong *Data* *Analyst* with experience in financial services,
banking or similar professional services environment.
- Data validation experience, data mining/mapping, data quality, data
sourcing, testing and trending
- Excel & report generation skills
- Strong SQL, base level Access or Excel
- Unix, Shell Scripting, KSH
- Excellent time management, written, and verbal skills
- Reports Development
- Solid Communication & Business Partnering skills
- 2+ years’ experience working with large amounts of data
Additional Desired Proficiency
Participating in JAD sessions
- Writing/developing Business Requirements Documentation
- Experience working in a production support environment
- SAS experience
- Teradata
