Role: Senior Business Analyst Location: Austin, TX This Senior Business Analyst is responsible for performing the following: - Facilitates JAD sessions to obtain system requirements from client staff for various functional areas - Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. - Provide technical and business production support to client staff and apply expertise in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. - Utilize extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. - Perform a variety of role related tasks. - Document requirements, and translate into proper system requirements specifications using high-maturity methods, processes and tools. - Develop use cases, test scripts and executed test scripts to validate major functional components. - Effectively communicate, both verbal and written to multiple levels and various groups. - Involved in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle to implement a large retirement administration system - Assist in developing training documents for functional processes for client staff - Assist in training client staff on functional processes associated with retirement application *EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:* - Typically a Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience. - Minimum 2 years in a business analyst or similar role for the implementation of a public retirement system - Recommended: IIBA CBAP™ (or equivalent) certification obtained. - Ideally, recognized industry-certification. *KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:* 4 or more year’s business analysis experience that includes: - Strong retirement domain knowledge - Experience facilitating requirements elicitation session and requirements reviews with end users - Experience writing use cases. - Experience presenting to user and management groups. - Experience writing requirements for reports. - Demonstrated expertise in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. - Good knowledge of ALM Experience gathering requirements on a State/Local Government project preferred Subject matter expert in the retirement industry [image: regards-thumb8083555] Tom Martin Sr. IT Recruiter 459 Herndon Parkway Suite 11, Herndon, VA – 20170 [email protected] I www.idexcel.com Phone: 571-441-0419 l Fax: (703) 880-7584 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hot List" group.
