Total Experience: At least five (5) years progressive experience in the analysis and design of business applications. Education and other requirements: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or a related business discipline. Duties: Support NET application by researching system problems, identifying resolution and communicating impact. Must be able to work in a team environment with the Senior Functional Analyst in identifying priorities, preparing test plans, executing the test and documenting the results. Assist in preparing the functional requirements document, system documentation and release notes. Recommend program modification and enhancements and ensure users have proper procedures. Participate as required with technical staff in the design, development and testing of system modifications. Must be capable of designing and executing IT software tests and evaluating results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Must be able to prepare test scripts and all required test documentation. Must be able to design and prepare all needed test data. Reviews test results and evaluates for conformance to design. Performs project management tasks. Uses best practice methods of project management for business application projects. Act as liaison between agencies, user groups and other MDOT personnel. Provide application support to end-users, which would include prioritizing, troubleshooting, and communicating issues related to end-user support. Provide functional training as required.
