This position will work closely and collaboratively with Development Engineer during all phases of the software development lifecycle. Candidates should have experience with Operating Systems and distributed applications. *Knowledge and Skills requirements: * Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Major programming language experience (Java, C, C++, C#, etc.). Experience with VB and scripting languages (Perl, batch, shell, etc.). Broad Operating System and networking knowledge. Understanding of SQL/relational database concepts. Experience using software quality assurance tools and processes. Experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux environments a plus. Ability to handle multiple assignments with deadlines. Knowledge of software testing methodology, including test plan development and execution. Experience with multiple-platform software products.
