The WebLogic Application Server Engineer position is a recognized expert
within the Shared Services team supporting the enterprise portfolio.   This
position applies deep broad technical knowledge of technology and industry
trends for web content management systems.  The WebLogic Engineer develops
implements and maintains highly complex applications utilizing WebLogic
with other components such as EMC's Documentum and Captiva and Adobe CQ.



The WebLogic Application Server Engineer participates in solution
development for medium to highly complex problems for the enterprise...
This includes, but is not limited to the following activities:



·               Elicit, review and validate requirements including:

o     Designing, prototyping, creating and/or integrating solutions

·               Provides technical expertise and utilizes technology trends
to:

o     Educate the client and development team on leading-edge technology
alternatives

o     Solve technical issues of various levels of complexity and difficulty

o     Interpret biases among the different technical worlds

o     Enable the client and development team to make informed decisions

o     Reviews data components of solutions and proposals

·               Manages WebLogic Project Development:

o     Designs application server solutions

o     Integrates application servers with business applications

o     Consults with application development teams on application sever
implementation

o     Configures application servers

·               Integrates applications servers into complex data center
environments

o     Assists with application server performance testing and analysis

o     Troubleshoots application server issues

o     Integrates application monitoring with application servers
