*SNMP Engineer* - 6 months plus contract
Sunnyvale, California
Need a contractor to support our SNMP development for current and future
projects
Perform embedded system software design and implementation for leading NPB
products as a member of a highly capable and dynamic engineering team.
*Responsibilities*
Design, develop, and maintain embedded manageability, and infrastructure
software.
Implement new features for NPB platforms.
Propose design architectures and solutions for new features and
enhancements.
Unit test implemented work.
Work with third party protocol/database stacks.
Resolve software issues that arise during testing cycle and from customers.
Work closely with software quality assurance engineering to review feature
test plans and confirm functions.
Be involved in early-stage development of high-performance, next-generation
NPB platforms
*Requirements *Requires a BS or MS in EE/CS and
3 years' experience in a related area.
Experience in implementing SNMP MIBS, CLI framework and implementation.
Experience with object oriented database modeling tools, design and schema
generation.
Working knowledge of XML/NETCONF API is highly desirable.
Experience working on high availability configuration management.
Excellent designing, C programming and debugging skills are required.
Requires good oral and written communications skills.
Must be self-motivated with an ability to work effectively and harmoniously
in large teams, across geographical boundaries
