*Location : Providence, RI* *Duration : 12 months* *Citizenship Status:* US Citizen preferred; Green Card will be considered *Position Details**: *As the Performance Test Lead, candidates must perform the following: * Develops data driven test automation scripts and executes performance and load testing of client products * Uses Load Runner to design and execute load and performance tests against Web applications, web services and SQL Server. * Awareness of industry of performance standards and to compare the application under test to these standards * Knowledge of performance bottlenecks and end-to-end performance web performance measures (server response time, throughput, network latency, etc.) * Ability to code basic load test scripts * An understanding of networking and web technologies such as VB.Net * Knowledge of web page composition (static vs. dynamic elements, browser behavior, etc.) * Some experience in collecting data, performing analysis on that data, and preparing reports * Possess high accountability and self-drive to take on and see through big challenges * Possess confidence, takes ownership, willingness to "do what it takes" to get the job done * Ability to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervision and with the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing client requirements *Skills Required**: **MUST HAVE* * Strong experience in using Load Runner * Experience in basic SQL Skills * Thorough understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies * Possess strong problem solving skills * Knowledge in SDLC and development process using Scrum methodologies * Should be a very good listener and communicator * Must be a team player; excellent written and communication skills is a must * Ability to learn new tools & technologies quickly * Experience in State Motor Vehicle projects a plus Education/Experience Requirements: * Strong performance testing experience, including ability to use load tools to monitor, gather, and report application performance on Windows machines or a Linux machine * Experience delivering business value on time and with highest quality, even under aggressive release schedules * Possess strong test planning, test scenario, test case/script development and execution, test tracking, and test status reporting capability 5+ Years of total IT experience with minimum of 3+ years of experience as a performance Tester of a distributed application/services using VB.Net technologies Regards, Tom Martin Sr. IT Recruiter Phone: 571-441-0419 (Mail) [email protected] http://www.idexcel.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hot List" group.
