*Visa: USC OR GC ONLY* *Interview mode: Phone hire* *SUMMARY:* *Architect, manage, deploy and support web platform infrastructure applications such as Weblogic, J2EE and Layer7. * *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* •Position focus is on production support, migrations, upgrades and troubleshooting of the middle-tier applications infrastructure environment. •Responsible for setting up, configuring, supporting and managing the web platform (i.e. Weblogic, Layer7) environment to ensure system reliability *•Configure and tune weblogic domains/applications for performance, scalability and reliability* *•Define and Manage the Weblogic Application build processes* •Responsible for the non-production and production deployment processes •Coordinate web platform infrastructure changes following standardized change control process. •Monitor, manage and install SSL certificates within Weblogic and Layer7. •Define, implement and manage middle-tier infrastructure roadmap. •Lead efforts to identify and document technical standards for web platform implementations. •Perform on-call support of production Weblogic application and Layer7 infrastructures *QUALIFICATIONS:* *•Minimum of four years in IT with at least two years Oracle Weblogic System Administration with Weblogic 10.x* •Minimum two years change control process administration experience •*Minimum three years experience and demonstrated strong knowledge of J2EE application development & deployment practices.* •Working knowledge of change control toolsets (PVCS, WLST, ANT Build Scripts) *•Working knowledge of monitoring toolsets (OEM Grid Control, Dynatrace, Solarwinds)* *•Two years experience with Unix / Linux System administration* •Working knowledge of network security •Working knowledge of PCI compliance and patch management. •BA/BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience •Strong communication and organizational skills.
