Role SAS Analyst Duration: Long term Location: Buffalo New York Credit risk senior IT business analyst with in depth knowledge of modelling, data mining and retail banking. SAS Expertise is highly desired. Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of Advanced IRB models (global, wholesale and retail) - Basel II & III Advanced IRB credit risk reports internal analysis to deliver validation reports to the regulatory body. Activities: Analysis of the quality, logic and integrity of the information inserted in the Risk Corporate Repository – Basel (BDR). Study integrity of information with origin systems and analysis of the information related with the parameters estimation (PD, LGD and EAD). Development, prepare and present reports with other Bank´s business areas on a regular basis using SAS technology. Development Ad-Hoc business reports using SAS. To define the project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the life of the project. Manage the full project life cycle from the initial Analysis through to Implementation. Define project scope and ensure it is clearly specified, measurable, attainable, realistic and understood by all the stakeholders. Analyze and document business processes involved in the project. Document the new business processes which will be implemented by the project. This task means collecting, understanding and identifying the business requirements of the project. These are described in the Project Management Plan. Translate business requirements into organizational and/or functional requirements. This task is done in collaboration with the IT technology team.
