This job requires a high level of collaboration and knowledge sharing with other developers and testers. *Responsibilities: * • Software design and development for a high-volume Internet product line *Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background: * • 8+ years of experience in software design and development utilizing PHP • Demonstrated abilities in creating web pages, services and APIs • Proficiency with object-oriented development and MVC design patterns • Recent experience developing: PHP 5.5, PHP Web Services, SOAP, JSON, REST, WSDL, XML and XML Schemas on *NIX platform. • Working knowledge of Laravel, Eloquent ORM, RabbitMQ • Working knowledge of Apache server setup and administration • Experience with automated unit and integration testing • Strong knowledge of Linux scripting using Perl or Python • Knowledge of SQL database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL • Experience with automation technologies such as a Puppet/Jenkins is a plus • Experience with maintenance of C#.NET web services is a plus • Experience with NoSQL database technologies (MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop) and search engine technologies (Lucene/Solr) is a plus *Other Requirements: * • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering • Ability to deliver results within rapid build and release cycles • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Independent problem solving • Self-motivated • Detailed-oriented • Demonstrated willingness to share knowledge and coach others -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hot List" group.
