Certifications such as CISSP, CISA or Security+ are desired. Experience should include but not limited to: 1. BS in CS/EE and or a minimum of 10 years of experience in network technology with a focus in cyber security and at least 2 years providing security operations support in a compliance driven operation. 2. Ability to analyze and determine the applicability of data, to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations; 3. Ability to gather information by examining records and documents and by questioning individuals. 4. Ability to assemble items of information in accordance with established procedures. 5. Ability to determine proper format and procedure for assembling items of information. 6. Ability to maintain accurate records; 7. Ability to prepare and use charts, graphs and tables; 8. Ability to prepare general reports 9. In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and compliances. 10. Excellent understanding of Cisco, VMware, Red Hat, and technologies and related product / technologies used in Network Security. 11. Experience with 99.9% or more uptime/SLA network design and implementation. 12. Experience in implementing high availability, fault tolerance and disaster recovery network solutions. 13. Experience with Firewalls, VPNs, and Load Balancer technologies. 14. Experience with secure operations of Red Hat Linux and Windows OS 15. Experience with SAN/NAS storage network switches and technologies. 16. Experience with IDS/IPS technologies. 17. Experience in setting up and monitoring for Security products/SIEM technologies. 18. Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required. 19. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. 20. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. 21. Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. 22. Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. 23. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. 24. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal abilities. 25. Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
