Send me resumes at <[email protected]> Location: Mclean, VA Term: 3 months to start, strong likelihood of an extension Key Skill: Javascript and Soap UI Description: Our client has an immediate contract opening for an experienced Software Engineer in Test / Test Automation Engineer to join our team, developing automated test scripts using both Selenium and Soap UI Pro. To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in applying development skills within a Test team with focus on quality and customer experience. This candidate must be passionate about quality with an attention to detail. They will also be flexible in work schedules to meet testing deadlines for project releases. SPECIFIC DUTIES/ASSIGNMENTS • Working within the SoapUI Pro to create and maintain reusable automated test scripts. • Writing detailed test cases that can be used for manual or automated testing. • Working within an agile lifecycle to identify test cases for automation. • Suggesting new and innovative approaches for test automation. • Automating REST API flows. • Identifying and documenting application defects.
