*Interview Mode: Phone then Skype* *Need strong automation QA with QTP and strong SQL Skills and know the Agile/Scrum development process*. · The candidate filling this position will support automated and manual application testing. · *The QA’s primary responsibility is to create and automate test cases, execute them, and incorporate them into the continuous integration environment. * · *The QA will participate as a member of the Agile SCRUM Team automating regression tests for continuous integration testing using industry standard tools.* · Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, establishing automated and manual application testing strategies for the sprint team, impact analysis, analysis of business requirements & designs for testability, utilization of appropriate tools to develop test cases and scripts, and execution of various testing types such as functional, regression and performance testing. · *The QA will collaborate with other SCRUM team members and analyze the applications service offerings to develop manual, automated tests and derive test data to assure the stability and quality of applications during an agile sprint. * · * The QA will participate in code and test planning, estimating, scheduling, implementation, automated script reviews and any other team activities. * · * The QA will analyze test demand for in scope user stories and develop the test specifications (test cases*), execute formal testing per schedule to meet necessary testing requirements, and execute exploratory testing per schedule to find defects outside of the formal test processes. *Essential Experience:* *Technical Skills:* *** 6+ years of software test automation experience* *** Experience using open source and free testing tools* *** JMeter* A Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science or equivalent degree program *Automated software test script creation, execution, and defect reporting within an Agile/SCRUM process lifecycle* *** Derive test cases from written and orally communicated requirements* *** Rally’s Agile Management tool (Rally Dev) or VersionOne, GreenHopper, etc.* * SQL* HTML *** Experience testing AJAX* Experience testing web services Experience testing queues or asynchronous processes *Scripting languages of some kind like JavaScript, Batch, Shell, Perl, etc.* Functional impact analysis Functional regression planning, estimation, and execution Experience with setting-up automation to run on *schedules, on certain events, or ad hoc* Experience with manual testing *Nice to have* *Sahi, Selenium, SoapUI * *** XML, JSON* Experience with Flash and Flex Testing Experience using system mocks or stubs to drive systems under test such as with *SoapUI or JMeter* Java web application deployment with *WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat*, or other application containers Continuous integration with *Hudson or Jenkins* Experience with* Sonar* Java development *Business Skills:* *Experienced in developing test strategies, test harnesses and planning approaches for testing applications* Ability to map requirements to test cases Skilled at examination and analysis of typical business workflow scenarios Ability to analyze complex applications and develop test cases Ability to create and execute manual, automated test scripts and report on test execution status *Ability to read user stories and evaluate business and technical requirements* Detail oriented, deliverable focused Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate with business users for clarifying requirements Ability to work across multiple organizations Experience with writing software defect reports Ability to communicate on a technical as well as a non-technical level Ability to understand applications from a technical and business perspective Candidate must be a proven team player with strong interpersonal skills possessing a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with varying priorities *Ability to make sound decisions based on business, technology, and QA guidelines* Thanks Regards *Swami A* Technical Recruiter *Ennovace Inc* Ph: 214-541-9378 F: 972-262-9006 [email protected] www.ennovace.com 1801 S O'connor Rd Irving TX 75061 In my absence please contact Steven at [email protected] (214-541-9081) Disclaimer: We respect your Online Privacy.
