*Business Analysts in this role will have successfully demonstrated the
following skills over a minimum of two years of progressive, directly
related job experience.*

·        Under general direction, formulate and define system scope and
requirements.

·        Act as a liaison between customer and technical solutions/support
groups.

·        Research, identify, and specify solution to problems.

·        Conduct visualization, user experience, configuration elements of
solution design.

·        Document requirements using high-maturity methods, processes and
tools.

·        Support requirements management and change management processes.

·        Consider the business implications of the application of
technology.

·        Skills:

·        Requirements Elicitation – interviewing, workshop facilitation

·        Requirements Determination – using structured, repeatable processes

·        OO Analysis – using UML models, Use Cases

·        Structuring Requirements: with precision & consistency; driving
out ambiguity

·        Scope Management – defining scope, managing expectations

·        Requirements Management – creating and maintaining baselines and
traceability

·        Change Management – identifying, assessing and managing changes

·        Issue & Risk management – identifying, managing, mitigating and
escalating

·        Creativity and Problem Solving – bringing innovative ideas to
complex problems

·        Collaboration – working effectively with internal & external teams

·        Flexibility – adapts quickly/confidently to changing roles,
objectives and priorities.

·        Effective verbal communication – explaining, questioning,
exploring and listening

·        Effective written communication – explaining concepts clearly,
concisely

·        Utilize tools effectively – HP ALM or Borland CaliberRM, Borland
Together



·        *Educational background should include a Bachelor’s degree in a
technical or business discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of
2 years of experience.*



Optional Skills:

·        Knowledge and understanding of retirement systems is a huge
advantage.



Job Responsibilities:

·        Under minimal direction, formulate and define system scope and
objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of information
technology, business processes, and industry requirements.

·        Act as a liaison between customer and technical solutions/support
groups, using advanced communication skills to elicit, document, analyze
and validate customer requirements.

·        Apply extensive knowledge of the customer’s business and industry
to develop requirements specifications. Document requirements, and
translate into proper system requirements specifications using
high-maturity methods, processes and tools. Develop visualization, user
experience and configuration elements of solution design.

·        Execute and coordinate requirements management and change
management processes. Develop and maintain internal and external
relationships to support management of scope and expectations.

·        Coordinate and participate in proposals, feasibility studies,
implementations, and new business development. Operates as a team member
and as a team leader.

·        Advise on methods to improve business processes. Consider the
business implications of the application of technology to the current and
future business environment.

·        May lead the training of customers and peers.

·        Must work at customer location; NO REMOTE

·        Must pass client background check in addition to HP standard
