*Interview mode: Phone or Skype* *Description:* *This position is responsible for overall health, support, and growth of the Oracle application environment.* *(Oracle E-Business Suite)* *Required Oracle Apps Skills :* •Responsible for adopting Oracle application architecture with the changing needs of the Organization. •Liaison with Business Teams, IS Teams to plan and schedule release management activities •Responsible for identifying and preparing task lists and dependencies for the approved Release Management Activities (for ex: release of bug fixes, roll-up patches, new modules etc) •Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support on all infrastructure issues •Manage, maintain, and monitor concurrent jobs to support Oracle applications. •Develop and support all required purging jobs to maintain optimal Oracle application performance •Install, Configure, Implement and manage Oracle application environments •Responsible for Performance tuning, cloning, patching, backups and upgrade of Oracle applications and databases. •Participate in capacity management exercises. •Establish and Maintain security of database environments. •Support and comply with associated SOX standards and procedures. •Other projects as assigned by the supervisor *Qualifications* *•Hands on experience with Oracle on RAC using ASM (10g/11g).* *•Hands experience installing/upgrading oracle RAC using ASM ( preferably 11g).* •Ability to work with the development staff to fully understand their database needs. •Establishing and documenting Backup Policies and procedures using RMAN •Hands on experience with RMAN implementation for oracle databases. •Provide DB reports such as backup reports, DB performance reports on weekly basis. •Assisting in the creation of database development standards and practices •Server tuning and Configuration (Assisting the system administrators with getting the most out of the DB servers). •Ability to recommend performance optimizations for databases. •Knowledge in putting an Oracle stats gathering strategy for OLTP and Data Warehouse based applications. •Working knowledge UNIX/LINUX OS and shell scripts. •Willing to participate on rotation of on call support at the off hours. •*5+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite(Oracle Apps -HR) experience* *•5+ years of Oracle 10g ,11g RAC Configuration experience* *•5+ years of Oracle 10g, 11g Running on Red Hat Linux 5+ years of experience in the patching and installation of Oracle on Unix/Linux* •Ability to troubleshoot performance problems using Oracle Traces (TKPROF, Trace Analyzer) and stats pack *•5+ years’ experience in RMAN, preferably in conjunction with Veritas* *•Oracle Performance tuning, specifically SQL, PL/SQL, and General DB tuning* •Performance tuning with large tables, including BLOB's, Bfiles, Partitions, etc. *•Experienced in shell scripting.* *•5+ years’ experience in Oracle Monitoring (Custom Shell/Perl/SQL Scripts* Thanks Regards *Swami A* Technical Recruiter *Ennovace Inc* Ph: 214-541-9378 F: 972-262-9006 [email protected] www.ennovace.com 1801 S O'connor Rd Irving TX 75061 In my absence please contact Steven at [email protected] (214-541-9081) Disclaimer: We respect your Online Privacy.
