*Interview mode: Phone or Skype* *Extensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter * *Direct hands-on development experience with data integration tools such as Microsoft SSIS Overview* *Cognos experience for the two positions is a HUGE PLUS!* The Senior ETL will assist client and the RCG Senior Data Architect with inventorying and analyzing their existing data acquisition/movement/integration assets, identifying impacts against a defined data asset rationalization plan, and delivery to mitigate those impacts. *While the focus will be on information management and business intelligence, attention may also need to be paid to select application-to-application data integration processes as necessary. * *Mandatory Skills * *•Demonstrated 8+ years’ experience – from a data acquisition/movement/integration standpoint – with: * O Inventory and analysis of current state – this includes hands-on automated and/or manual methods to discover/catalog/analyze data acquisition/movement/integration code *(such as stored procedures, ETL jobs, etc.) and source-to-target lineage * O Identification of Source Systems of Record (SSOR) as part of source-to-target lineage O Identification of candidate components for reuse O Assist RCG account management to estimate and plan work according to a defined transition plan / roadmap O Delivery of target state in a phased manner as per the roadmap – this includes hands-on assistance with architecting, designing, developing and testing data integration components O Populating target structures built using modeling styles including (but not limited to) third normal form, dimensional, snowflakes, denormalized, columnar etc. *O Extensive usage of Informatica PowerCenter * O Thorough knowledge of and experience with data reconciliation (Audit/Balance/Control) and exception/error handling O Waterfall, Agile and related delivery methodologies •Experience with multiple database platforms as sources and/or targets including Microsoft, Oracle, columnar database appliances (such as HP Vertica), MPP platforms (such as Teradata) •Strong interpersonal skills with multiple audiences, which include: O client business and IT subject matter experts to gather, document and clarify detailed business and technical requirements, ensuring business rules coverage in data integration component design O client technical personnel (such as DBAs) to implement physical data models, identify and resolve database/ETL/ELT/access performance bottlenecks O Clients Senior Data Architect and account management to estimate and plan work, provide technical status reporting etc. O Experience with metadata using a tool such as Informatica Metadata Manager O Clients technical team members to collaborate and peer review technical work products etc. *Additional/Desired Skills * The ideal candidate will also have some/all of the following: *•Direct hands-on development experience with data integration tools such as Microsoft SSIS in addition to Informatica PowerCenter * *•Experience with data quality management using a tool suite such as Informatica Analyst and Developer (or IDE/IDQ) * •Experience with automated data validation tools such as Informatica Data Validation Option •Experience with data acquisition/movement/integration for MDM implementations •Experience with real-time data integration and delivery •Experience with data virtualization tools such as Composite, Informatica Data Services etc. •Experience with relevant Big Data technologies for data ingestion/integration •Experience in the Retail industry vertical, including data analysis-related work for business functions such as (but not limited to) Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain etc. Thanks Regards *Swami A* Technical Recruiter *Ennovace Inc* Ph: 214-541-9378 F: 972-262-9006 [email protected] www.ennovace.com 1801 S O'connor Rd Irving TX 75061 In my absence please contact Steven at [email protected] (214-541-9081) Disclaimer: We respect your Online Privacy.
