Skills required: • Extensive knowledge in SQL Tuning techniques for large databases. • The ability to spot potential problems from AWR reports and the knowledge to propose appropriate solutions • Skilled in Data Modeling. • The ability to juggle multiple tasks and quickly switch from one task to another. *Qualifications:* • At least 5 years experience working with Oracle and its associated utilities. • Experience working on large projects while interacting with multiple people and groups. • Strong Communications skills. Must be able to articulate very precise technical problems and solutions while conversing with management and other members of the programming staff. • Technical classes w/o associated certification desirable.
