All are focused on delivering interactive experiences by using the standard UI Engineering tech stack, which consists of jQuery, Backbone, Require, Lo-Dash, and Dustjs. Commerce ??s cart, and checkout experiences. Profile ?? Provide customers a more meaningful visit by developing personalized experiences based on recently viewed products, My Best Buy status, and more. Web Analytics ?? Implement, streamline, and enhance tracking capabilities on BestBuy.com, and other web properties. The ability to continuously innovate in a JavaScript only environment is a must. Search Team ?? Enhance the search capabilities and customer experience for BestBuy.com by developing interactive components in a large scale, responsive environment. Local Store Pages ?? Engineers in this role will have the opportunity to utilize their entire skillset by providing backend PHP/MySQL/Wordpress expertise, along with frontend JavaScript/HTML/CSS experience. Position Overview: Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for: Develop world-class experiences for Best Buy customers Work with business analysts to define and develop requirements Partner with other developers to work through technical requirements Collaborate with broader UI Engineering team to share/learn lessons learned What would a normal day for this position look like??
