*Role : Software Engineer - Pega Integrator Location: : Ft Collins, CO* *Duration : 10 Months with possible extension* *Job Description: Position Description: *Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to: §Develop architectural documentation of proposed Pega solutions §Assist with the hand off of Pega applications from development to production §Implement instances of Pega application infrastructures per design specification §Provision servers in a managed or cloud hosting environment to requested specifications §Work with Pega COE staff to ensure best practices for Pega development and deployment are followed * Qualifications: Education and Experience: * *Preferred:* 4+ years’ experience with deployment and administration of Pega servers in enterprise class data centers *Required: *Four year technical degree such as Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering - or - Combination of at least 3 years of similar experience with progress towards a bachelor or graduate technical degree * Required Skills and Competencies: *The successful candidate will have experience in the following: § Ability to provide infrastructure support for applications built on the Pega platform, including coordinating the installation of hot fixes across multiple environments § Proven record of successful execution in cross-team collaborative IT environment § Ability to recognize design and implementation issues and provide feasible solutions § Proactive approach to problem solving and capacity planning § Strong written, verbal, and documentation skills * Desired Skills: *§ Integration, deployment, and system administration support of both Windows-based and Linux based applications § Experience designing, building, and supporting Geospatial applications using ESRI COTS software § Ability to help design, implement, manage, and enforce cloud provisioning processes § Deployment and administration of Alfresco platform and applications § Familiarity with SAN, VMWare, Cloud hosting and Database clustering technologies § Experience configuring and leveraging server and network monitoring tools § Hands on experience with server hardware and storage devices § Networking Design and Architecture Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust.
