LTE -Modem Development /Integration Test requirement _ 5 positions for the L1 (Layer 1) LTE Developers in NJ Location: Murray Hill, NJ Development JD: (No. required - 3) * Experience with implementing L1/L2 protocols for LTE * Experience with real-time OS (Linux, WindRiver, etc) running multi-core devices, Freescale, Smart OS, etc * Familiarity with tools such as real-time multi-core debuggers, especially Eclipse based (like CodeWarrior), version control systems like Clearcase, CR control systems like ClearQuest. code review packages like Code Collaborator. * Familiar with basic Java, as used for a test development platform. Also scripting languages such as TCL and Python. * Familiar with UNIX and Windows 7. * Exp - atleast 10 yrs. * Good in analysing L1/L2 software requirements (Architecture specifications, Algorithm specifications, etc) * Good in Designing software architecture, and producing design documentation * Knowledge on Implementing design in C/C++, performing code optimizations * Writing and performing unit tests, in C/C++ Integration Test JD: (No. required - 2) * Detailed knowledge and experience testing LTE technology in Layer 1 (Physical) and Layer 2 (RLC/MAC/PDCP). * Thorough understanding of all control plane and user plane channels and protocols. * Knowledge and experience using LTE parameters defined in 3GPP standards for Layer 1 and Layer 2. * Exp - min of 5 years with integrating and testing Base Station modem software * Knowledge of LTE trace/debug methods and tools. * Experience with LTE base station hardware and software. * Test automation skills. * Strong communication skills for participating on Feature teams. * Strong analytic skills for diagnostics and root cause identification * Familiarity with Quality Center, Clearcase, DCT. Experience with Python language for post processing automation. * High level knowledge of mobile networks end to end data transport and control plane protocols.
