*Rates:$45/hr* *Interview mode: Phone then F2F* * CANDIDATE MUCH COMFORTABLE TO GO FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW* *JOB PURPOSE: * Design, development, testing and maintenance of reusable automated test scripts using industry standard tools with primary focus on implementation of automated solutions that will improve the quality of various applications deployed in production. *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * •Responsible for the design, development, implementation and execution of reusable automated test scripts using industry standard tools such as Java/JUnit. *SOAP UI, HP UFT/QTP*–service testing for web service test automation; *Jmeter for performance testing*, or various open source tools. •Create, maintain, and execute modular and maintainable test scripts, cases, and scenarios of enterprise applications through the entire product life cycle to validate system capacity and performance according to specifications. •Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used. •Integrate the automated scripts with Jenkins server for continuous integration testing. •Produce reports and documentation for all automated testing efforts, results, activities, data, logging and tracking. •Track and report defects using appropriate tools such as Quality Center. Record and report on testing metrics. •Coordinate with software development, *QA, BA and project management teams* to ensure timely and appropriate coverage is obtained through automation. •Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management. •Develop and maintain documentation on automated testing environment, standards, assumptions and methodology. *JOB REQUIREMENTS: * *•Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with a related degree * *•Minimum of 2 years automating web services using Java/JUnit or SOAP UI is a MUST * *•Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Java is a MUST * •Minimum of 3 years of other programming languages experience such as *VB Script, Perl, C++ etc.* •Minimum of 4 years automated testing experience including functional automation and any mobile automation •Minimum of 2 years of experience with Jenkins, Junit, HP Quality Center •Previous SQL or Oracle query experience •Good handle on Linux OS •Any experience with cloud service like AWS (Amazon Web service) is a huge plus •Working experience in the development and implementation of automated software testing solutions and knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies. •Proven skills in research, analysis, solution validation, and implementation •Excellent problem-solving skills •Must be extremely detail oriented and highly organized •Must be able to work both independently and as a part of a team with strong team building skills.
