This role is focused on providing hands-on operational deployment and support for commercial and custom software applications, with an emphasis on SQL Server and Data Integration methods and technology. You will be an individual contributor responsible for researching, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting information security technologies with a focus on Microsoft SQL environments. Your primary duties include leveraging your in-depth technical knowledge to manage and enhance the databases that are within commercial solutions as well as internally developed by providing direct application administration and troubleshooting, code analysis/reviews, and controls management. The successful candidate must be willing to take rotational on-call duties as required. Job Requirements * Experience managing MS SQL Server installations (2008 and newer) * Understanding of Software Development Life-cycle * Understanding of Change Control models * Information security engineering experience (2-4 years) * Implementation of security products or controls oriented around Windows Server and SQL Server environments. * Strong written & verbal skills combined with a passion for collaboration and teamwork. Desired Skills * Experience with SSRS * Experience with BIDS (SQL2008/2012) * Experience with SSISDB (SQL2008/2012) * Troubleshooting Data Integration processes and OPENQUERY syntax * Experience with Oracle query syntax * Query Analysis Experience * Experience with Informatica (or other ETL toolsets) * Microsoft Product Experience (3-5 years) Active Directory design, auditing, troubleshooting. Windows Server 2008 configuration and administration, including IIS.
